Kofa National Wildlife Refuge is close to this campsite and is another beautiful place to boondock. If you travel just slightly further, you get to the quiet town of Quartzsite, where you will find a dumping station and water and propane filling stations. A short 15-minute away is the Castle Dome Mining Museum. The museum is a non-profit museum/ghost town dedicated to preserving and restoring Castle Dome City.
