Description

Harris Ranch Resort is known for producing and distributing high-quality beef products. The brand is carried in many high-end food stores. Traveling up or down the I-5 in the California Central Valley is an easy stop at the SE intersection of I-5 & State RT 198. You can stay overnight for free in designated areas of their parking lot (no hookups). You can choose three dining areas–the bar, the main restaurant, or the more upscale Prime Steakhouse. Although a steakhouse by category, they serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In addition to steaks, the dinner menu offers a variety of items, including homemade soups, fresh salads (side or entree size), some seafood, and a few chicken selections.

Menu Favorites

My favorite is the Whiskey-Smoked Salt and brown Sugar-Rubbed Rib Eye Steak topped with a dollop of their special herb butter. I always get their twice-baked potato as one of my sides.

Nearby Attractions

There are not really any nearby points of interest, but the SR-198 East takes you to Visalia, the gateway to Sequoia National Park, home to the giant Sequoia Redwood trees.
