Start this drive at the US/Canada border at Osoyoos and head north on Highway 97, driving along the lakes of the Okanagan Valley through Oliver, Okanagan Falls, Penticton, Summerland, Peachland, Kelowna, and Vernon. You’ll have plenty to see and do along the way – the Okanagan Valley is among the best of the Pacific Northwest’s wine country, with over 200 wineries producing award-winning wines. The summer weather is hot and dry with ample freshwater lakes to cool off in, featuring boating, sailing, kiteboarding, and fishing.
