Description and Tips
The trail meanders through the woods, and then climbs through the forest to an opening on the edge of Lake Michigan. At the edge is an expansive sand dune elevated above Lake Michigan, and the view is breathtaking. The shoreline is steep, and provides a 180 degree view of Lake Michigan with The Manitou Islands visible. The trail is located in the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore shoreline.
