We have enjoyed scores of national parks and keep going back to Zion. The photographic and hiking opportunities are awesome. If you are leaving the park to the east (say to go to Bryce Canyon), be sure to take the Zion Mount Carmel Highway, a stunning 40 mile stretch that connects up with US Route 89. If you are traveling in an RV, you will need to purchase a tunnel permit for the main park entrance.
