The 2020 Leisure Travel Vans are starting to roll off the line and find their way home to many excited new customers. So, what’s new for the 2020 model year? Let’s walk through some exciting changes and updates for 2020!
New Standard Features
Standard across all models is the new, innovative Dometic RMD 10 Series Refrigerator. The patented door hinge on both sides of the door allows the fridge and freezer to be opened from either side, offering added convenience and flexibility.
AGM Coach Batteries and a 2000W Pure Sine Wave Inverter are now standard on the Unity and Serenity and are available as an option on the Wonder. With this, we’re also inverting the plug for the microwave, allowing you to warm up your coffee on those cold mornings without turning the generator on.
Enhancing the audio experience, all 2020 Leisure Travel Vans come standard with a Sound Bar with streaming Bluetooth capability. Creating a true mobile theatre, there’s even a built-in subwoofer in the 2020 Unity Murphy Bed.
Auto Generator Start
On all Leisure Travel Vans, if you choose to go with the optional 3.6 KW Onan LP Generator, we’re including an Autostart feature. With this, you can set the generator to come on automatically according to the desired temperature in the coach, or you can set it to automatically turn on when the batteries are low.
New Sprinter Chassis Upgrades
The Serenity and Unity are built on the all-new Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500 Cab Chassis, providing unprecedented levels of luxury, comfort, and safety previously not available in a Class C motorhome. Some of the highlights of the new chassis include the all-new MBUX multimedia system with a 10.25″ touchscreen, heated and electric driver and passenger seats, Traffic Sign Assist, Attention Assist, cruise control with Active Distance Assist Distronic, Active Brake Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist and more!
Exterior Colors
With curved and integrated body lines, LTVs are some of the best-looking RVs on the road today. (At least we think so!) For 2020, White Suede has a slightly whiter base color and we have a brand new color available for the Unity called Glacier (shown below). The Unity now has eight exterior color combinations, the Serenity has three, and the Wonder has seven.
Ultraleather™ Décor
Ultraleather™ truly defines performance fabrics. The intelligent material is designed with the ultimate softness, comfort, and durability in mind. For 2020, choose from three elegant colors – Fog, Earth, or Mountain.
New Fenix NTM® Color Option
With the optional glamour package, the upper cabinets are upgraded to either Bianco White or the Grigio Shadow (New) Fenix NTM®. This stunning, durable material features low light reflectivity, resists fingerprints, and is pleasantly soft to the touch.
Corian® Private Collection
Corian® Private Collection solid surface countertops bring luxury to the open road, while being easy to clean and resistant to staining. We have a new color this year – Stone.
Unity 2020 Updates
On the 2020 Unity Murphy Bed, we now include a pop-up 40″ LED TV with an integrated sound bar and subwoofer for a surprisingly deep and clean sound in the comfortable living space. Movie nights on the road will never be the same!
The front overhead console area has a new look with even more cabinet space on all Unity models.
The redesigned front end of the Unity blends beautifully with the all-new Sprinter chassis.
Optional Exterior Table
The new optional, integrated exterior table is available on all 2020 Unity models. When not in use, the integrated table conveniently folds up to fit inside your exterior storage compartment.
Serenity 2020 Updates
The Serenity is now built on the all-new Mercedes-Benz 3500 Sprinter Cab Chassis with many updated features. The front overhead console area inside the Serenity now has even more cabinet space and a new, cleaner look. The valances are finished in matching Ultraleather™ to the rest of the coach. As with the Unity, we’re including a Smart Blu-ray Player, Sound Bar, new Dometic RMD 10 Series Refrigerator, AGM coach batteries, and a 2,000 W Pure Sine Wave Inverter. If you choose the 3.6 KW Onan LP generator, you will get the Auto-Generator Start feature.
Wonder 2020 Updates
On all Wonder floorplans, the upper cabinetry now comes with curved Natural Rift cabinet doors as standard. All Wonders come with the same touchscreen Multiplex Wiring Control System previously only available on the Wonder Rear Twin Bed.
Wonder Optional Features
You now have the option of upgrading to Dual Maintenance-Free 6V AGM Batteries and a 2,000 W Pure Sine Wave Inverter. The curved upper cabinets can be upgraded to either Bianco White or Grigio Shadow Fenix NTM® finishes. If you go with the optional 3.6KW Onan LP generator, you’ll now have Auto Generator Start which means when the batteries are low, you can have the generator come on automatically to replenish.
