Manitou & District Regional Park

The Western Sunsetters 2015 Saskatchewan Rally will be held from Tuesday June 23 to Friday June 26, 2015 at Manitou & District Regional Park, 6 km north of Watrous SK on Hwy 365.

Morris No. 312-20120620-00014The park has a lot to offer: the world famous Manitou Mineral Spa (don’t forget your swimsuit); Danceland for those like to go dancing; the beautiful Manitou Beach 9 hole Golf Club, plus much more. You can learn a lot about the park by going to their website at

The park is holding for our use until June 1, 2015 fourteen sites with full hookups close to the washrooms, showers and private camp dining kitchen. After June 1 they will be released to the general public. To obtain one of the reserved sites contact the campground at 306-946-2588 before June 1, 2015 and tell them you are with the Leisure Travel Van rally. They will assign you one of the reserved sites and take your credit card to hold your site. Last minute entries are still welcome but you may not be able to get into our reserved LTV area. Please also send me an e-mail or call to let me know you are coming, that will help in my planning for the meals provided by the chapter.

groupphotoMeals will be communally held at our private large camp dining room located in our reserved area; no need to worry about in- clement weather. For those arriving Tuesday bring a dish for a pot luck supper at our camp dining kitchen (power is available for plugging in warming pots, etc., a fridge is also available). Our chapter will also be providing BBQ burgers, beans and chips on Wednesday evening, and a pancake and sausage breakfast Thursday morning. Participants are expected to bring their own food to the camp kitchen for all other meals.

There will be plenty of time during the day to enjoy the park’s amenities and the company of other LTVrs . Evenings will end with our traditional bon-fire.
