LTV 2017 Western Sunsetters Saskatchewan Rally
Our Western Sunsetter Saskatchewan Rally will be held Tuesday June 20 to Friday June 23 at Manitou & District Regional Park, 6 km north of Watrous SK on Hwy 365. The park has a lot to offer: the world famous Manitou Mineral Spa (don’t forget your swimsuit); Danceland for those who like to go dancing; the Manitou Beach Golf Club which is just across the highway from the campground, plus much more. You can learn a lot about the park by going to their website at www.watrousmanitou.com
14 sites with full hookups close to the washrooms, showers and camp kitchen have been reserved; more can be made available if needed. To obtain one of the reserved sites you must wait until after May 1 and then contact the campground at 306-946-2588. Tell them you are with the Leisure Travel Van group so that they put you into our reserved area. The campground will require you to pay one nights camping to hold your site. You can use a credit card to pay.
All meals will be communally held at the large camp kitchen located in our reserved area; no need to worry about inclement weather. For those arriving Tuesday we will be having a pot luck supper. Power is available for plugging in warming pots, a fridge is also available. You can probably count on the Chapter supplying a BBQ one evening and a pancake breakfast one morning. There will be plenty of time during the days to enjoy the park’s amenities and the company of other LTVrs, and play some games. Evenings will end with our traditional bon-fire.
It would help immensely if you would e-mail me to let me know you are coming so that I can plan supplies as well as the food for the meals we will be providing.
If you have any questions please contact me at [email protected] or telephone (306)297-7921.
