The Midwest LTV Travelers Club fall 2022 rally is near Taylors Falls, MN and will be 4 nights (Monday – Friday) September 12 – 16, 2022 at the Wildwood RV Park and Campground. Taylors Falls is a small town in Minnesota on the St. Croix River that separates Minnesota from Wisconsin and is northeast of the Minneapolis / St. Paul metro area.

We have 34 sites reserved at this time until May 1, 2022. The sites are near the Guest Service Center and are C4 – C9, which have full hook-ups, sites 3 – 13 have water and electric, and sites 15 – 24 have water and electric, and A1 – F2, which are water and electric. F1 and F2 is a double site, but it has two hook-ups for water and electricity. Also, you can get a campsite outside of this area, but you will just have to walk a little further for the activities. Also, full hook-up sites are 50 – 63B. The sites are reserved for our group starting on Sunday, September 11, 2022, if you would like to arrive early to the rally. There is a 20% discount for our rally:

Full hook-up $50.40 + tax per night
Water & electric $43.20 + tax per night
No hookups $32.00 + tax per night
Taylors Falls Recreation – Wildwood R.V. Park & Campground (wildwoodcamping.com)
The campground is currently in the off-season, but there is someone in the office on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. CST, to answer the phone and help you with your reservation. If there is not an answer, please leave a message and they will return the phone call.

Contact the campground at (651) 465 – 7162 to reserve a campsite. Mention that you are part of the Midwest LTV Club to get the appropriate rate.

Once you have made a reservation for the Fall Rally near Taylors Falls, please email [email protected] your name(s) and site number.

We will have group space reserved at the Guest Service Center with a nice big fireplace on one end and a small store on the other end. We will use this space for our meetings, meals, and evening activities.

There will be a $10.00 rally fee per coach that will be collected at the rally to help in deferring any additional expenses for the rally and the Midwest LTV Club.

Also, the campground on-site amenities include:
• Wi-Fi
• Minigolf ($3 for 18 holes)
• Basketball, Volleyball & Horseshoes
• Bike Trail
• Nature trail (self-guided)
• FREE showers and flush toilets
• FREE shuttles to Taylors Falls Canoe & Kayak Rental offered 7 days a week

Some of the activities that we are planning include:
You will have an option of taking a Scenic Boat Tour on the St. Croix River on Tuesday, September 13 at 1:00 p.m., rain or shine. The boat trip will be approximately $17.99 – 19.99 for an 80-minute excursion. Their licensed boat pilot and tour guide will point out the unique rock formations that were left behind as the glaciers retreated thousands of years ago. There is an option to purchase beverages and a meal on the boat.

On Wednesday, September 14, there will be a canoe trip down the St. Croix River. The group will leave at 11:00 a.m. from the campground, and the campground will shuttle people to the river, and canoe 7 miles down the river. It takes about 2 1/2 to 3 hours and they will shuttle back the group. If it rains, then you can go the next day.

For bikers, there is the Swedish Immigrant Trail that runs right behind the campground. You can hop on that trail and ride into Taylors Falls and then go across the St. Croix Bridge. Also, the Polk County Information Center has passes for the bike trails in Wisconsin. The information center is a trailhead to get on the 98-mile Gandy Dancer Bike Trail that can take you to Superior, WI.
