The Facility
Our chosen campsite is in a beautiful prairie setting with plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the outdoors. The unique town of Stettler is within easy walking distance from the campsite. The campground has several amenities, including washrooms, a shower house, laundry facilities, a camp store, an indoor-outdoor meeting facility with BBQ, a commercial indoor kitchen and dining space, and a sizeable outdoor group firepit. A bonus to this location is that there is onsite boarding for the Alberta Prairie Railway Excursion right from the campsite.
The group camping area provides multiple shared water sources and a sewer dump station for campers’ convenience. However, individual hookups are unavailable. Limited power is accessible within the site and can accommodate some sharing of the available power. To utilize this limited power, campers must bring their adapters and power cords, preferably extended lengths, to ensure a power source can be reached. Furthermore, the group site features a private building with kitchen facilities and dining tables and chairs. This space would be for our private use for our stay. Adjacent to this building is a spacious and secluded fire pit area, perfect for campfires and creating memorable moments under the stars.
For $140, participants will enjoy four nights of group camping at the Prairie Junction RV Resort and gain access to the rally’s festivities. For the rally booking form, click here.
Please note: Those traveling with dogs will be responsible for paying a fee of $10 per dog per day, which should be paid directly to the Prairie Junction RV park upon arrival.
We look forward to our fall rally, the first Western Sunsetters event to be held over a weekend, making this rally accessible to more members. We hope to see you there!
