About

This park backs up to a nice reservoir lake, but there is also a beautiful cove with low, red-rocked cliffs – a perfect area to kayak. There are several campgrounds, but only Tetanka has hookups. It has a small boat ramp into the cove. The park can be difficult to find if vehicle navigation acts up as there are few signs. All payments are at a kiosk at the entrance if no one is in the ranger station at the gate. Compost toilets, but central shower buildings. Also, a few small cabins. Plenty of biking opportunities.

Campground Tips

In Tetanka – T15 is a nice pull-through overlooking the dirt road and then the cove. T80 is a spot close to the lake with nothing in between.
