From September 8th – 11th, we had our annual fall rally for Leisure Travel Vans & Triple E RV owners. What made this year particularly special was that it was our 50th year anniversary, so we had more guests than previous years and a few special events including fireworks over the lake.

Every year Leisure Travel Vans owners trek to Manitoba, Canada, to attend the 4 day rally hosted by Triple E RV & Leisure Travel Vans. We have everything from technical seminars, tours through the manufacturing facility and other local attractions, entertainment, delicious food, and plenty of opportunity to view the newest Leisure Travel Vans on display. Owners can call ahead and schedule a service or warranty appointment for work to be done while they stayed with us.

It was an experience that we will cherish forever.

On Tuesday, registration began and everyone started driving into camp early in the morning. We were all introduced, welcomed to the rally and later enjoyed dinner and a Winkler Flyer’s hockey game, a game of bingo and some popcorn.

On Wednesday, we began a Dometic seminar shorty after breakfast as well as factory tours, a Mercedes Benz seminar and Leisure Travel Vans seminar where we were able to answer all sorts of technical questions. We had a significant number of members from the Southwest LTV Road Runners, part of our LTV Travelers Club.

After lunch, several enjoyed a Barb Wiebe pottery tour and more seminars. Just before dinner, we all gathered together for a group photo that was later printed and handed out to all attendees.

We finished Wednesday evening off with 10 pin bowling and mini golf and some free time for friends to get together.

On Thursday, guests were guided on a tour through Winkler and its history, while others enjoyed either a look at simpler times at the Pembina Threshermens Museum or explored the Canadian Fossil Discovery Center. In the afternoon were more tours with a Mercedes Benz sponsored Dinner Theatre and a camp fire later in the evening.

On Friday, golf enthusiasts enjoyed a 9 hole round at the Minnewasta Golf Course in Morden, Manitoba. After dinner, we enjoyed Ray St. Germain & Band, coffee with friends, a same day edit video highlight of the event, and finished the evening off with fireworks on the beach.

Most importantly, the rally is really about meeting people. Having the opportunity to have Triple E RV’s staff interact with owners. First time owners meeting long time owners, getting reacquainted with old friends and making new ones.

Some guests had this to say about their experience:

“It was a huge planning and logistical feat, that was made to seem effortless to the attendees. We were so very impressed with the commitment to craftsmanship and excellence in all areas of production of our coach. We saw first hand that everyone has the highest level of ownership in what they do. It makes us proud to own an LTV product and we tell that to everyone that we show our coach to. To find upon arriving that we were able to have electricity was a special treat that we were grateful for.”

Some attendees’ favourite parts of the rally: “Meeting old friends; making new friends and interacting with the Leisure / Triple E staff; Fireworks; Ray St Germaine; Seminars; Socializing.”
