This is a paradise on earth no matter what you like to do. There is hiking, mountain biking and awesome places to visit! Mono Lake, Devil’s Post pile, Mammoth town (probably a little early for skiing and snowboarding …), hot springs, ghost towns, the world’s oldest tree (but they don’t tell you which one it is!), Mount Whitney, relaxing with a good boo and so much more.
Route 395 is rich with things to see and do. And, from this location, it is a gorgeous drive to Reno, Yosemite, all kinds of mountain lakes and quaint little towns.
