Tommie Lauer
Born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota about the time of the covered wagons, she became interested in photography, did this for a few years, then to medical school, practiced medicine for a while, retired after age 60, and traveled around the country. About 50,000 miles on two wheels, including several ventures into Canada with her son. Then while riding on US-2 in northern Montana on return from Portland, Oregon, she decided there must be an easier way to do this.
Beginning in 2008, a couple of Airstreams, then a Tiffin Allegro Bus. Back to an Airstream in 2014, and finally, after towing more than 70,000 miles and riding in the bus another 50,000, she found the dream machine… an LTV Unity Corner Bed. Only had to wait a year and a week…. but well worth it.
